A normal ferry commute is expected on Tuesday, after a ferry struck a pylon in the water on Monday night.
The ferry was leaving the Pier 11/Wall Street terminal when the incident happened. The vessel began taking on water as passengers were stranded for an hour.
NYPD, FDNY and Coast Guard boats responded. Passengers were transferred to other boats and continued their trip to the Rockaways.
“We are glad to report that all passengers were safely disembarked, and regret the inconvenience,” NYCEDC said in a statement on Twitter.
