Rival street gangs from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn started fighting inside the TGIF on Harkness Avenue last Tuesday night.
After the violence was quelled inside the restaurant a gang member stepped outside to grab a smoke. As soon as the 24-year-old man lit-up, a car full of opposing gang members pulled up and popped off 8 9-mm rounds striking the man once in the leg.
The police ran a background check on the victim and found he had 30 prior arrests.
The man is being treated at NYU Langone Hospital- Brooklyn.
