An Australian diplomat was killed on Wednesday after falling from the ledge of a building in Manhattan.
Julian Simpson, 30, was apparently playing the “trust game” with a friend. It involved Simpson leaning back from the ledge of the building on Clinton Street and having his friend grab him before he fell.
However, the friend couldn’t catch Simpson and he fell. He was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Beth Israel hospital.
Police believe the death was accidental.
