An early morning lovers spat left an innocent bystander with a bullet lodged in her thigh.
The shooting took place when cousins Richard and Jason Dale showed up at Richard's ex-girlfriend's house armed with a pistol.
After the two armed men unsuccessfully attempted to barge into the ex-girlfriend's apartment they pulled their weapons and started shooting.
One of the bullets ricocheted and struck a 17-year-old girl who happened to be walking by while the scene unfolded.
The teenager was taken to Richmond University Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.
The cousins have been arrested and charged in the accidental shooting.
