Vigil Held for Victims of Terror Attack

New Yorkers are remembering the victims of the terror attack.

A candlelight vigil was held on Thursday night at the Houston Street Pier.  Not far away, a memorial continues to grow at West Street and Chambers where the attack ended.

Eight people were killed and a dozen were injured when a pickup truck slammed into a group of people in a bike lane in Lower Manhattan.  It ended when the truck slammed into a school bus and suspected terrorist Sayfullo Saipov was shot by a police officer.

Six of those killed were foreign tourists.  Another victim was from New Jersey, while the sixth was from New York City.
