Employees Expected To Assist In Re-Election Campaign

A leaked inner office correspondence from a high ranking employee in the Westchester County Executive office allegedly informed employees that they should plan on clearing their schedules so they can help their boss; Rob Astorino get re-elected.

According to reports, the employees were told that they would be needed to deliver absentee ballots and to provide security in heavily democratic districts to ensure only registered voters participate in the election.

An employee from the social services department in Westchester was awarded $380,000 dollars after claiming she was demoted and fired for not backing Mr. Astorino in his 2013 election.

Astorino's campaign spokesperson Bill O'Reilly said of the email, it was a personal communication and there is nothing wrong with it being sent.
