Bratton: NYC Remains Number One Terror Target

Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton says the best strategy to prevent terror attacks is to try and gather as much intelligence as possible.

He told WOR’s “Len Berman in the Morning” that includes monitoring people that could carry out the kind of attack that we saw in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday.  Bratton said it also relies on New Yorkers remaining vigilant and saying something when they see something.

Bratton said New York City remains the number one terror target and it has faced numerous threats since the September 11th attacks.  He also said the pace of those attempts is increasing.
