The maternity ward at NYU Winthrop Hospital was hopping on Wednesday.
The Mineola, NY hospital welcomed 4 sets of twins between 8:45 am and 2:30 pm.
Two sets of twins were on the maternity schedule for the day, the two other sets were out of the blue.
The 6 baby girls and 2 baby boys are healthy and happy.
The parents of the twin binge all met in the maternity ward and promised to schedule play dates.
