A teacher in the Bronx has been arrested after he was accused of slapping a 12-year-old student in the face.
Fatai Okunola, 50, was charged with assault and is expected in court on Friday. He teaches at I.S. 219 - New Venture School in the Claremont section.
It’s unclear what caused Okunola to allegedly slap the student.
The 12-year-old was not seriously injured.
