A JetBlue flight leaving Boston had to make an emergency landing at JFK Airport in New York City after a bird strike on Monday night.
The left engine of Flight 877 was impacted shortly after the Airbus 320 left Logan International Airport. An emergency was declared with plans to return to Boston. However, the plane was then diverted to JFK.
The plane landed safely just before 7:30 p.m. There were 144 passengers on board.
The flight was headed to Las Vegas.
