An 84-year-old elderly woman was conned out of nearly half a million bucks by a Brooklyn waitress who befriended her back in 2002.
Alicia Legall was charged with grand larceny and identity theft after authorities acted on a tip from a concerned friend. The senior citizen's financial records show that Legall allegedly clipped over $200 grand from her checking account, $73,399 in cash advances, and over 200,00 thousand bucks in unauthorized purchases.
Ms. Legall faces 15 years in prison and is being held on $2.5 million dollar bail
