Felon Felix Perez received a double dose of pain when he decided to break into a Queens home on August 1 of 2016.
The first shot of pain was delivered by the NYPD officer who responded to the break-in and found Perez in the home. Perez refused to surrender to the officer, a scuffle ensued, and Perez was shot point blank in the groin.
Mr. Perez received the second painful blow when he was sentenced to 16-years to life in prison because of his long and sorted criminal career.
Perez was caught breaking into the Queens home when the owner checked her surveillance app on her phone.
