Yankees Headed to ALCS

The New York Yankees are headed to the American League Championship Series after beating the Cleveland Indians 5 to 2 in the decisive 5th game.

Shortstop Didi Gregorious led the way with a pair of homeruns, including a 2-run homer in the 3rd.  Brett Gardner added a 2-run single in the 9th inning.

David Robertson threw 2 and 2/3 innings in relief for the win, after C.C. Sabathia was pulled in the 5th inning.  Closer Aroldis Chapman recorded the final six outs for the save.

The Yankees won the series, despite falling behind 2 games to 0.

The Yankees begin the ALCS on Friday night against the Houston Astros.
