A 91-year-old man is dead and his elderly wife suffered minor injuries after a violent home invasion in Brooklyn.
At least two armed men broke into the couple’s apartment in Bedford Stuyvesant on Wednesday afternoon and tied up Waldiman and Ethlin Brumley Thompson. While the suspects were searching the home, the wife was able to escape and call for help.
When police arrived, the husband was unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead.
Ethilin Brumley Thompson suffered minor injuries.
A search continues for the suspects.
