Congressman Peter King says he doesn’t know what President Trump meant when he said this is the “calm before the storm.”
“We’ll have to wait and see,” King told WOR’s “Len Berman and Todd Schnitt in the Morning.”
King said there are conversations taking place behind the scenes about North Korea. He speculated the president’s statement could be part of some kind of “psychological warfare.”
“These are very tense times and we’ll have to see in the end how this all works,” King said.
It’s unclear whether the president was talking about North Korea, Iran, ISIS or some other issue. Trump refused to answer questions Thursday night, after making the comment while surrounded my military officials.
