A 9-year-old was killed and a 13-year-old was injured after falling from a second floor balcony in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
The kids were on the balcony when it apparently collapsed at the home on Brighton Avenue. The 9-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The 13-year-old was brought by helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Prosecutors in Middlesex County don’t suspect any criminality. They believe this was just an accident.
It’s unclear why the balcony collapsed.
