Three New Jersey police officers were injured on Wednesday night after an accident in Union City.
The officers were investigating a deadly accident on Palisade Avenue and 30th Street where a teenage biker was struck and killed by a garbage truck. While on the scene, the officers were struck by at least one of two motorcycles who were riding by.
One of the injured officers is listed in critical condition, while the other two are listed in serious condition. All three are expected to survive.
One of the motorcycle riders fled the scene and remains on the loose.
