3 people in Brooklyn were injured last night when the facade of a building crashed down to the busy the sidewalk below.
One pedestrian who was critically injured was rushed to Lincoln Hospital. Two others who suffered minor injuries were treated at the scene and released.
Officials from the NYC office of Buildings arrived on the scene last night to assess the damaged structure and to determine what caused the collapse.
MTA officials took precautionary measures and slowed both the 2 and 5 trains due to the close proximity of the subway station to the partially collapsed building.
