31-year-old Chris Fuhrer will be sent to prison for 5 to 15 years after he was found guilty of strangling his 85-year-old grandmother, Ms. Erika Kraus-Breslin.
After Mr. Fuhrer killed his grandmother he kept her corpse in an upstairs bedroom wrapped in trash bags for nearly 5 months. Fuhrer also poured paint on the body and sprayed it with Febreeze to mask the smell of decomposition.
The police were contacted by Grandma Breslin's daughter who grew worried after she hadn't heard from the murdered woman for months.
When police arrived at Fuhrer's residence they found the body in the upstairs bedroom with several rotating fans attempting to disperse the wretched stench.
