President Trump is in New York City this week for the United Nations General Assembly. That will result in numerous street closures and problems for drivers.
First Avenue will be closed from 42nd to 48th Street. There will also be closures for 44th, 45th and 46th Streets between First and Second Avenue. 42nd Street from the FDR to Second Avenue will also be closed when the General Assembly is in session and there will be numerous parking restrictions.
There could also be street closures and restrictions elsewhere in the city when world leaders are on the move.
President Trump is expected to hold meetings with world leaders on Monday, before addressing the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday. A big topic of conversation is expected to be North Korea’s nuclear program.
