The New York City Police Department said it’s “closely monitoring” the situation in London after an explosion occurred on a subway train.
“No direct threats to #NYC, but always remain vigilant/aware of surroundings,” Police Commissioner James O’Neill said on Twitter.
An explosion ripped through the train in London on Friday as it pulled into the Parsons Green Station. Multiple injuries were reported but there were no reports of any deaths.
Officials in London have described this as a “terrorist incident.” There’s no word on any suspects.
