The NYPD is investigating the death of a 5-year-old Queens boy after the child fell to his death from a third story window. The boy was in the care of his grandparents when the accident occurred.
The house where the tragedy took place is under construction and investigators believe the child may have locked himself in a bathroom on the third floor, before crawling out the window and falling.
Construction workers called first responders and the boy was rushed to Booth Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
