Highlights and reaction from the Mets 5-1 victory over the Reds

The Mets were able to take game 2 of a 4 game series against the Reds by a final score of 5-1 Friday night at Citi Field.

Travis Taijeron started the scoring for the Mets in the 2nd inning with a solo home run, the first of his young major league career. Jose Reyes continued the trend of leaving the yard in the 3rd as he hit his 100th home run in a Mets uniform. Reyes added another homer in the 5th to make the game 4-0 in favor of New York.

The Reds would be able to score one off the Mets bullpen in the 9th inning, but AJ Ramos earned his 6th save in a Mets uniform to close out the game.

The Mets continue their series with the Reds tomorrow night at 7:10. Coverage on WOR begins at 6:05 with 'Mets On Deck.'
