Several protesters were cuffed and hauled away from Trump Tower this afternoon after a group of 100 plus gathered to voice their displeasure over President Trump's decision to end DACA.
The protesters chanted "We are the voices in your hearts" and "We are human beings, our dreams are all equal, protect the dignity and all our people."
Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced President Trump's decision to overturn DACA within the next 6 months. Sessions also announced the administration's hope that Congress will come with an equitable replacement for the "dreamers."
The protesters say the DACA program allowed them to earn a decent living and become financially stable for the first time.The protesters arrested were charged with creating a public nuisance and blocking traffic.
