Springsteen’s Broadway Run Extended

If you didn’t get tickets to the initial batch of shows featuring Bruce Springsteen on Broadway, you’ll have another chance.

The Broadway run which was initially supposed to end on November 26 has now been extended through February 3 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.  The first group of shows sold out and tickets quickly began appearing on resale websites for thousands of dollars.

The Ticketmaster Verified Fan registration process will once again be used.  However, those who registered for the first run of shows and didn’t get tickets won’t have to register again.

The Walter Kerr Theatre has just 960 seats, meaning tickets were in high demand.

“I wanted to do some shows that were as personal and as intimate as possible. I chose Broadway for this project because it has the beautiful old theaters which seemed like the right setting for what I have in mind,” Springsteen said in a statement.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale September 7 at 10 a.m.
