A 16-year-old high school football player has died after an accident at on Long Island.
Joshua Mileto was one of several players participating in a conditioning drill at Sachem East High School in Farmingville. They were carrying a log when Mileto was struck in the head.
Mileto was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Multiple coaches were supervising at the time of the accident.
