Man Booked After Library Attack

Terrence Wilmont was arrested and charged with assault, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon after he slashed a woman in the Brooklyn Public library.

The unidentified woman was working on a computer on the second floor of the library when the suspect approached her and kicked her chair. 

When the victim looked up the man allegedly slashed her across the hand and several fingers with a kitchen knife.

The woman was treated for minor injuries on the scene.
