Garfield Foster is lucky to be alive after an emotionally disturbed woman shot at him from inside her Queens home yesterday.
Yvonne Cosby called the NYPD to report a suspicious vehicle parked in front of her home. When the police arrived on the scene they informed Ms. Cosby that the van was legally parked and the driver wasn't involved in any criminal activities.
Moments after the police left, Ms. Cosby opened her window and fired two rounds from her handgun at the van Garfield Foster was sitting in.
The police returned to the Queens residence and placed Ms. Cosby under arrest.
The 72-year-old woman was taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
Mr. Garfield was not injured.
