Yu Darvish won the pitching duel over Jacob deGrom as his Dodgers shutout the Mets 6-0 tonight at Citi Field. Darvish, in his first start since being traded to Los Angeles from Texas, pitched seven scoreless innings, striking out ten and allowing just three hits.
The Dodger offense was fueled by the home run. Chris Taylor and Yasiel Puig his solo shots in the 1st and 2nd innings respectively. Chase Utley hit a two run dinger in the 6th inning to put the game out of reach.
