A Staten Island 10-year-old and her family are suing a farm and the Staten Island Public schools due to a pig attack.

Nia Braithwaite and her classmates went on a field trip to Spring Brook Farm in Vermont last August.

While visiting the farm Nia was placed in the pig pen just as the swine were being fed.

The ravenous pigs rushed for the food and "violently struck" and "disabled" the youngster.

The victim's mother, Nubia Braithwaite, and her attorney filed the pig attack complaint in Staten Island Supreme Court.

The court records do not indicate how much money the Braithwaites are suing for or how badly the child was hurt in the pig stampede.
