It was another rough outing for Steven Matz as the Mets were defeated 6-3 tonight by the San Diego Padres.
Matz was lit up for six runs on nine hits over just three innings. The Mets offense would not provide much aide as they only managed three runs on five hits despite having several opportunities to have big innings. Wilmer Flores did homer in the loss.
