The Mets fell behind 5-0, but rallied to defeat the A's 6-5 on a Wilmer Flores walk-off home run in the ninth inning.
Zack Wheeler was roughed up for five runs on seven hits over five innings, but the Mets would fight back from down 5-0. Jay Bruce started things off with a 2-run home run, then Jose Reyes would hit his second triple of the evening before Travis d'Arnaud drove him in to make it 5-3. Michael Conforto would follow with an RBI double to cut the A's lead to just 5-4. Lucas Duda would rip an RBI single in the eighth to tie it, and then Wilmer Flores won it with a HR in the bottom of the ninth.
