NJ Transit canceled a series of trains on Monday afternoon because of a crew shortage.
Four rush-hour trains were canceled on the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast lines. Princeton Shuttle service was also suspended.
NJ Transit blamed a crew shortage, but didn’t offer specifics.
This comes amid the so-called “Summer of Hell.” NJ Transit and Amtrak have altered service because of emergency repairs at Penn Station.
Repairs are expected to continue until September.
