David Angeski was arrested for locking his 7-year-old son in a hot car last weekend. The Stratford, CT man said he was trying to teach his son a lesson after the child refused to accompany him into the store.
Shoppers saw the boy crying in the car and notified the Stratford police.
When Mr. Angeski returned to his car police arrested him and charged him with leaving a child under 12-years-old unsupervised in a motor vehicle.
The outside temperature was in the mid-80's.
Police records failed to indicate if the child needed medical care.
