The Mets were able to take game two of a three game set over the Marlins 8-0.
Everything was decided fairly early tonight as Asdrubal Cabrera took a ball out of the yard before an out was even recorded in the game, giving the Mets a 2-0 advantage. Also in the first inning Jose Reyes singled to pass Ed Kranepool for 2nd all time on the Mets hit list, he also drove in the third run of the game.
The Mets would pad their lead in both 7th and 8th innings as Curtis Granderson and Brandon Nimmo each drove in two runs to give the Mets an 8-0 lead.
The Mets will try to win tomorrow's series over the Marlins at 7:10. The 'WOR Sports Zone' will kick off coverage on WOR at 6:05 pm.
