Police have arrested a driver who allegedly fled cops and then struck a biker in Midtown Manhattan.
Officers were responding to a report of the car spinning its wheels in a parking garage. They attempted to pull the driver over, but the driver kept going.
The driver drove down Seventh Avenue in the wrong direction, striking the 32-year-old biker and just missing a crowd of pedestrians. The driver tried to flee the scene on foot, but cops were able to catch up with him.
Charges are pending against the driver. A passenger in the car was also questioned.
The biker was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
