Shots rang out at the New Jersey State Fair at the Meadowlands late on Thursday night, sending people running from the scene.
At least three shots were fired at 11:30 p.m. as the fair was coming to a close on its opening night. No one was injured, but those who heard the shots began fleeing.

Multiple people were taken into custody.
The New Jersey State Fair runs through July 9th.
