Dashon Devine was arrested by Newark Liberty International Airport security yesterday after he was caught stealing luggage from the baggage carousel.
Security spotted Devine loitering in the baggage claim area and instructed him to leave if he couldn't produce a claim ticket.
Witnesses say they saw Mr. Devine retire to a nearby bathroom until security left the area.
After the coast was clear, Devine returned to the baggage carousel, snatched a bag, and headed for the exit.
Unfortunately for Mr. Devin, the rightful owner of the luggage saw the crime unfold and notified security.
Mr. Devine was arrested for theft, possession of drugs, and bail jumping.
