A 28-year-old man has been killed after a hit-and-run in the Bronx on Monday night.
Gabriel Garcia was in the Mott Haven section at East 138th Street and Walton Avenue when he was hit by two different vehicles. He was struck by one car and was then hit by a Toyota Camry. The driver of the Camry remained on the scene, but the driver of the first car took off. Police believe the car that left the scene may have been a livery cab.
Garcia was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No charges have been filed. An investigation continues.
