Heat Wave Continues in NYC

Temperatures will be in the 90’s again on Tuesday, as a heat wave continues to engulf New York City and the tri-state area.

A high of 93 degrees is expected on Tuesday, before scattered thunderstorms move in at night and lead to cooler temperatures.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 80’s, before dropping to highs in the upper 60’s by Friday.

Tuesday is the third straight day where temperatures will exceed 90 degrees in New York City.  On Monday, it reached 93 in Central Park, tying a record.
