New York City Police have shot and wounded a man in Brooklyn who allegedly stabbed a roommate.
The incident happened Sunday night at a home on Shepherd Avenue. Officers responded to reports of a fight when they encountered the suspect. They fired a shot at the individual when he refused orders to drop the knife.
The victim was stabbed at least twice in the arm. Both the victim and the suspect are expected to survive.
An investigation continues into the incident.
