A 5-year-old boy remains in critical condition after being shot in the head by a stray bullet in the Bronx.
The shooting happened Monday afternoon as Jaheem Hunter was celebrating his birthday with his father on Washington Avenue. Authorities arrested 27-year-old Michael Quiles for the shooting. He was allegedly firing shots at someone he had a problem with.
Quiles is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday and he has multiple prior arrests.
On Tuesday night, friends and community members held a prayer vigil for Hunter.
