The Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office is running tests on the skeletal remains of a person that was found wrapped in a carpet outside of a building in Yonkers yesterday.
Yonkers Police Sgt. Dean Politopoulos claimed the building and surrounding area do not have a high propensity for crime, which suggests that the carpet bound corpse was dumped there by the perpetrates.
Detectives investigating the scene are scanning surveillance videos and canvassing the neighborhood for clues.
