A man wearing a black jacket and a gray hoodie robbed a woman outside of the Citibank ATM on the Upper East Side Monday afternoon by threatening to dump a cup full of acid on her.
The victim had just withdrawn an undisclosed amount of money when the suspect approached her and said he'd douse her with the alleged chemical concoction if she didn't give him the cash.
The woman handed over the money and called the police to report the crime.
The robbery occurred at the Citibank on 1st Avenue and 68th Street.
The victim was not injured in the robbery.
