A joyous wedding reception in Copiague, Long Island turned into a bloody melee when two men got in to a scuffle that ended with one man dead from a stab wound.
Witnesses say an insult caused Jose Collado-Nunez and Anyelo Rosario to square off and start brawling.
Concerned party-goers broke up the fight when it became apparent that Anyelo Rosario was badly injured.
Mr. Rosario was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The bride's sister told reporters that everyone was excited for the big day, and then something like this happens and ruins the celebration.
Mr. Nunez was arrested and charged with first-degree manslaughter.
