A sixth-grade teacher from Thompson Brook School in Connecticut has been suspended because of her second job selling sex toys online.
The school board officials knew that the unnamed teacher was a sales representative for the adult store ‘Pure Romance' but when they learned she was promoting her wares on her social media account they were forced to act.
A school board meeting was held Tuesday night and both parents and teachers agreed that selling products of that nature is a bad influence on pre-teen students.
The Avon Public School system is investigating if the teacher violated rules that govern the appropriate use of social media by an educator.
