LISTEN: Mets Bullpen Falters Again in 7-3 Loss in Arizona; Mets Have Lost 5 Straight

The Mets lost their fifth straight game falling to the Diamondbacks 7-3 tonight in Phoenix. Zack Wheeler kept the Mets in it allowing just one run on seven hits over six plus innings of work. Rene Rivera got the Mets on the board with an RBI single, he now has a 9-game hitting streak. 

Tied 1-1 in the eighth Hansel Robles came on and was roughed up. He allowed two long home runs, a 3-run shot to Yasmani Tomas which made it 4-1 Arizona before Jeff Mathis drilled a 2-run shot to put the D-backs ahead 6-1. Daniel Descalso would add a solo shot off Josh Edgin to give Arizona a 7-1 advantage. 

Wilmer Flores hit a 2-run shot to cut the lead to 7-3 but it would not be enough for the Mets who are now 5 games under .500.
