A 28-year-old father was killed after he was struck by a tree limb during a Mother’s Day barbecue in Passaic, New Jersey.
A storm caused a heavy limb to fall on Paulison Avenue, striking the man in the head. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
“We’re a city right now in a bit of shock,” Passaic Mayor Hector Lora said.
Six others were also hit by the tree limb. They suffered non-life threatening injuries.
