UPDATE: 2 Dead, Multiple Buildings on Fire After Plane Crash in Carlstadt

A plane crash in Carlstadt, New Jersey, Monday afternoon killed two crew members and caused a large fire in multiple buildings near Teterboro Airport.

NBC News reports there were no passengers aboard the small plane, only crew.

Eyewitnesses report that smoke from the site can be seen from miles away.

One outlet reported the plane was a Learjet 35 Twin Engine corporate aircraft.

Local police and fire departments have responded to the scene. There is no word yet regarding injuries.
