A Flushing Queens toddler is lucky to be alive after he fell from his family's second-story apartment window.
The 2-year-old boy fell 20 feet and bounced safely off the roof of a shed.
Police records do not indicate if the apartment was outfitted with safety bars. The toddler is listed in stable condition at Elmhurst General Hospital.
The police question the boy's mother but declined to say if any charges would be filed.
